Description:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within Brisbane media sales. With 2-3 years’ of that experience being in Direct sales in the Brisbane market, with an existing network of direct client relationships
  • Ability to present to individuals and groups and construct excellent documentation supporting responses to brief and proactive proposals
  • Excellent communication skills including experience with the preparation and presentation of updates and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Teams, Outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate focus & clear decision-making ability under pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Confidence & demonstrated experience managing clients & stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Direct Account Manager is responsible for maximising revenue for FOXTEL MEDIA partners across a wide portfolio of channels. You will be required to develop and service relationships with Media agencies, and clients to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across FOXTEL MEDIA channels, platforms and sites.

This position would suit an outgoing, organised, and energetic individual accustomed to working in a fast pace environment who is passionate about content and has a genuine interest in the media & advertising industry.

  • Acquire new advertisers and drive revenue & share growth within your portfolio. This includes being proactive in sourcing opportunities to address revenue needs.
  • Actively demonstrate company values and role model these across the team.
  • High level market presence to build and nurture relationships with media agencies and clients to ensure each parties objective are achieved.
  • Proactively develop engaging, timely and relevant brief responses with new, creative and sellable ideas.
  • Use sales tools and media maths to negotiate campaigns at appropriate level.
  • Accurately forecast client/agency revenue and share intel on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis. And ensure revenue targets are being met each month and quarter, including personal targets, team targets and channel targets.
  • Develop, participate in, and lead compelling presentations for clients and stakeholders, providing input to enhance presentation impact.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by working effectively and liaising with internal departments as well as external parties.
  • Develop & demonstrate strong client understanding – able to provides insight on client metrics, client decision making process and client category/business to inform appropriate brief responses.
