Description:
Embrace provides residential support services for adults and children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and acquired brain injuries. We are looking for Healthcare Assistants / Direct Support Workers who believe in developing people’s strengths and work well in a team environment to join our team in our brand new children’s service opening in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan in early 2025. Working closely with your colleagues, you will be responsible for supporting our residents to live fulfilled and wholesome lives, enabling them to learn new skills and live happily in their new home.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Full FETAC Level 5 healthcare qualification or equivalent (essential)
- Previous healthcare experience (preferred but not essential)
- Full manual driving licence (driving will be an essential part of your overall role)
- A kind and compassionate personality
- Fluent English (essential)
