Membre du comité de Direction du site, le Directeur Excellence Opérationnelle soutiendra la transformation de Galderma en une organisation mature d’amélioration continue et de résolution de problèmes. Le titulaire de ce poste dirigera et soutiendra des activités et des projets complexes et essentiels sur le site de fabrication, il supervise l’équipe d’excellence opérationnelle de même que l’équipe d’optimisation des opérations. C’est un interlocuteur clé pour protéger et développer les intérêts du site, et un lien essentiel dans une organisation matricielle avec un lien direct avec la Directrice de l’Usine et un lien fonctionnel avec la Directrice Excellence Opérationnelle Globale (Corpo). Le Directeur Excellence Opérationnelle doit être à l’aise dans un environnement qui évolue rapidement, l’Usine de Baie d’Urfé étant en forte croissance depuis de nombreuses années et Galderma venant d’être introduit en bourse en mars 2024.

Principales responsabilités :

• Gérer le portfolio de projets d’amélioration des processus de toute l’usine en utilisant la méthodologie Lean Six Sigma incluant l’outil privilégié Kaizen.
• À titre de gestionnaire du portfolio des projets d’amélioration continue et du PMO, le Directeur Excellence Opérationnelle produit des résultats financiers directs et mesurables et durables. De plus, il est responsable de transférer les connaissances et les habiletés aux membres de l’équipe afin d’améliorer la compétence organisationnelle en matière d’amélioration continue.
• Dans le cadre de la gestion projet, son rôle est de coacher les gestionnaires de projet d’amélioration ainsi que les équipes de projet dans la méthodologie Lean.
• Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, il devra développer et suivre une méthodologie afin de sélectionner les projets d’amélioration continue et surtout de les prioriser en fonction de la capacité de l’usine.
• Il doit être capable de travailler et de communiquer autant avec la direction qu’avec les employés.

Description de poste

• Challenge les cibles d’amélioration de l’usine et fait les suivis nécessaires auprès des services.
• S’assure de l’alignement des pratiques d’amélioration continue avec le corpo (Global Head of Operational Excellence) ainsi que les autres usines du groupe Galderma.
• Responsable de la gestion du portfolio de projets d’amélioration continue de l’usine (identification, priorisation et suivi).
• Promouvoir et véhiculer la culture d’amélioration continue axée sur le client, visant l’implantation de livrables mesurables (économie de temps/argent, réduction d’activités à valeur non-ajoutée).
• Responsable du transfert de connaissance et habilités de résolution de problèmes, visant l’amélioration des compétences organisationnelles.
• Faciliter le changement par l’utilisation des bonnes pratiques de gestion du changement et s’assurer de leur utilisation au sein du comité de direction.
• Participe annuellement au déploiement de la méthode Hoshin Kanri auprès de la direction.
• Développe et maintien de tableau de bord usine (ScoreCard).

Qualités recherchées

• Forte capacité à influencer le changement de manière positive et à briser les silos entre les fonctions (posséder les bonnes compétences non techniques telles que la facilitation, la gestion du changement, l’intelligence émotionnelle, la voix du client).
• Pensée stratégique avec une vision globale de l’avenir afin de mettre en place une organisation de classe mondiale (capable d’identifier les lacunes afin de : prioriser les bons projets et fixer des objectifs ambitieux.
• Possède les aptitudes et la volonté pour devenir un modèle démontrant une passion pour l’excellence par l’application rigoureuse de la pensée et des outils Lean Six Sigma. Capable d’encadrer et de former d’autres ceintures.
• Excellentes capacités de résolution des problèmes et état d’esprit innovant et enthousiaste à l’égard des nouvelles technologies numériques
• Possède les habilités pour influencer, négocier et résoudre les conflits afin d’obtenir un consensus et les objectifs communs.

Exigences de base

• Baccalauréat en science
• Certification Six Sigma – Ceinture noire ou Master Black Belt
• Expérience dans des environnements de fabrication, de chaîne d’approvisionnement et/ou d’ingénierie au sein d’une grande organisation mondiale. (minimum 10 ans)
• Formation en gestion de projet, un atout important
• Habilités reconnues en application des outils Lean Six Sigma ; Grande capacité en leadership et en communication (bilingue, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit)
• Intégrité, dynamiste, capacité d’influence et résolution de conflits
• Compétences avérées en matière d’enseignement et de coaching.
• Une expérience dans l’industrie pharmaceutique, automobile ou dans une entreprise orientée vers les coûts est un avantage.

Title: Head of Operational Excellence

Summary of Position
As a member of the site management committee, the Head of Operational Excellence will support Galderma’s transformation into a mature organization of continuous improvement and problem solving. He/she will lead and support complex and critical activities and projects at the manufacturing site, oversee the Operational Excellence Team as well as the Operations Optimization Team. He/she will be a key factor in protecting and developing the site’s interests, and an essential link in a matrix organization with a direct link to the Plant Manager as well as a link to the Global Head of Operational Excellence (Corpo). The Head of Operational Excellence must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, as the Baie d’Urfé Plant has been growing rapidly for many years and has entered the stock market in March 2024.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the plant-wide portfolio of process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology, including the preferred Kaizen tool.
• As manager of the continuous improvement project portfolio and PMO, the Head of Operational Excellence must produce direct, measurable, and sustainable financial results. In addition, he/she is responsible for transferring knowledge and skills to team members to enhance organizational competence in continuous improvement.
• As part of project management, their role is to coach the Improvement Project Managers and project teams in Lean methodology.
• As part of their responsibilities, he/she will develop and follow a methodology for selecting continuous improvement projects and, above all, prioritize them according to plant capacity.
• He/she must be able to work and communicate with both management and employees.

Job Description

• Challenge Plant improvement targets and conduct follow ups with departments as necessary.
• Ensure alignment regarding continuous improvement practices with corpo (|Global Head of Operational Excellence) and other Galderma Plants.
• Responsible for managing the Plant’s portfolio of continuous improvement projects (identification, prioritization, and follow-ups).
• Promote a lead a customer-focused continuous improvement culture, aiming towards the implementation of measurable deliverables (reducing time/cost, reducing non-value-added activities).
• Responsible for the transfer of knowledge and problem-solving skills, aimed towards improving organizational competencies.
• Facilitate change by using proper change management practices and ensure their use within the management committee.
• Partcipate annually in the launch of the Hashin Kanri method to management.
• Develop and maintain Plant dashboards (scorecard)

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• Six Sigma Certification- Black or Master Black Belt
• At least 10 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Engineering environments within a large Global Organization.
• Project Management training is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma tools: strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bilingual both oral and written.
• Integrity, dynamic, ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
• Teaching and coaching skills
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, automotive or cost-oriented industries is an asset.
