Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of related business experience and bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in a “Fortune 500” and/or CPG company preferred
  • Ability to interpret data and insights from multiple sources to provide a holistic perspective
  • Ability to think systemically & lead complex processes
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to influence (without authority) decision-making across multiple levels and functions of an organization to drive results
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with point of sale sales data (Nielsen) and basket data (dunnhumby, IRI) preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time

Responsibilities:

  • Create the annual & long-term 4P and trade investment strategies for our partner brands, maximizing KDP’s and partner’s ability to capture value, built on a strong understanding of our shopper’s behaviors;
  • Develop appropriate price positioning within category price tiers for each brand/trademark in collaboration with our partner brands. Ensure price positioning is properly aligned with brand identity and relative to competitive set within the market place;
  • Analyze both in-market data as well as research data to understand the impact of various price points and promotional tactics to our business, and provide recommendations to senior management and partner to improve results;
  • Understand the financial profile of our product portfolio, including key drivers of profitability, to drive the analysis of our different categories assortment portfolio, leading to optimization, prioritization, pack-price architecture, channel strategies and other assortment-led strategic processes and initiatives;
  • Foster meaningful relationships based on trust, credibility and demonstrated value;
  • Lead or support strategic planning, Joint Business Planning (JBP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) management for a portfolio of partner brands;
  • Execute the strategy and JBP for each partner’s brands and lines of business;
  • Be accountable for achieving AOP commitments;
  • Own and drive the development, implementation and maintenance of the Cold Commercial Playbook;
  • Integrate intercompany cross-functional teams to execute collective goals and objectives;
  • Collaborate with other functions including Marketing, Innovation, Consumer Insights, Category Management, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
