Description:

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in life sciences with drug discovery experience
  • 5 to 7 years in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • Legal background in contract management will be considered an asset

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to work fluently in both French and English (spoken and written)
  • Highly detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
  • Trusted to always keep sensitive information confidential
  • Motivated to read and review a large volume of legal documents
  • Strong will to learn and expand knowledge
  • Sound judgment, coupled with good business sense
  • Operate and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills (efficient knowledge of MS Office applications)
  • Work efficiently both independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of entire contract portfolio
  • Perform contract maintenance and contract lifecycle management
  • Produce reports, spreadsheets, and other documents related to contract management
  • Ensure consistency of contract terms with company policies and goals
  • At times, may be required to communicate relevant contractual information to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Support internal clients in establishment of agreements with suppliers
  • Actively monitor all funded Research collaborations
  • Maintain an updated list of all Research partnerships/consortiums
  • Serve as a key internal contact with funding bodies representatives
  • Track Company’s obligations for awarded contracts
  • Coordinate the scientific elements of R&D Tax Credit reporting
  • Various related tasks, including special projects
  • Support various internal approval processes related to commercial contracts and ensure adherence to ISO 27001 and internal standards
