Relevant du directeur principal, Logistique et services clients, le directeur ou la directrice, projets logistiques fait partie d’une équipe de professionnels dédiés à la logistique de l’ensemble du réseau de distribution de KDP Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Continuous Improvement) or Logistics Operations Management, or any other relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English both orally and in writing
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills at an executive level
  • Ability to assess the human and organizational impacts of major changes on an existing operation, as well as to facilitate the exchange of ideas between management and collaborators.
  • Strong desire to move projects forward, challenge the status quo and want to change and improve what already exists
  • Implementation of identified solutions to achieve project objectives
  • Develop relevant indicators to ensure that the solutions implemented are sustainable
  • Ability to give feedback and will to develop others
  • Ready to travel 15% of its time

Responsibilities:

  • Manages/oversees strategic projects
  • Present key projects at executives meetings
  • Ensures visibility of department performance
  • Supports budget development as well as management and cost control of logistics and transport activities
  • Collaborate with the warehouse teams to improve processes
  • Ensure the analysis and improvement of the efficiencies of the warehouse activities
  • Identifies and participates in prioritizing logistics opportunities to improve costs and service
  • Analysis of current processes and costs to identify inefficiencies and productivity for the company
  • Track and report monthly performance. Be able to identify trends and proactively cross correct
  • Collaborates closely with the Sr Manager Client Operations, the Sr Manager, Warehousingand any other stakeholders
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and improvements
  • Built an analysis and resolution strategy around customer issues
  • Creates links with its partners in North America (Canada/United States/Mexico)
  • Coaches and develops his team – 2 employees
