DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION:
The Director Aircraft Management is responsible for the implementation of our sales initiatives for managed aircraft opportunities, while also playing a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our current customer relationship operations, supervising the Customer Success function. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the VIP/business aviation industry, has strong sales acumen, and a proven track record in customer relationship management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 10 years of experience in the aviation industry with a focus on aircraft management and sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Extensive network of potential clients and strong relationship-building skills
- Exceptional leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Knowledge of aircraft management services and industry regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new aircraft management contracts, focusing on maximizing revenue and expanding Comlux’s market share.
- Lead and motivate the aircraft management sales initiatives throughout the organization.
- Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement withing the aircraft management business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with aircraft owners, aircraft managers, brokers, private wealth management offices, financial institutions, and other industry stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and enhance Comlux’s industry presence.
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure that client relationships are managed effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee the customer success function, implementing best practices and processes to enhance customer experience throughout the client lifecycle.
- Provide expert advice and consultancy to clients on aircraft management solutions, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the aviation sector and market trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and campaigns that effectively communicate Comlux’s value proposition.
- Represent Comlux at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, enhancing the company’s profile and developing new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development strategies to senior management.
- Ensure offers and contracts are well designed to attract customers, protect the company, and ensure suitable financial return.
- Supervise the implementation of each contract, from signature to aircraft entry into service and beyond, so that both parties will have a clear understanding and agreement about the contents.
