JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and expert Commercial Leader to lead our Biosciences Division (BID) in the South East Asia & Taiwan region. Reporting to the SEA and Taiwan VP&GM, you will drive the sustained success and growth of our organization. Overall, the Commercial Leader is pivotal in driving the success and profitability of the organization through effective commercial strategies and strong leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15 years plus experience, ideally in the Life Sciences industry, general management, with a demonstrated ability in a regional leadership role.
  • Successful track record in defining, planning and crafting strategies and initiatives that set direction for the organization, business unit.
  • Strong business insight and critical thinking abilities, with a deep appreciation of the market dynamics. Analytical approach, identify trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Keen understanding of the customer journey through Digital Channels (how customers research, engage, and buy online) and tailoring sales strategies to their digital touchpoints.
  • Familiarity with government policy and funding practices and an existing network of KOL and policy makers.
  • Strong executive presence, people leadership skills and ability to foster strong relationships.

Responsibilities:

This role carries the responsibility of one of our largest businesses across the SEATW geography. By optimally connecting global strategy, enabling scale and developing workflow selling, the leader will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, and elevate the organization’s market presence.

  • Deliver on annual operating plan commitments and build long-term strategic plans to set up the organization for success
  • Develop workflow selling solutions, working with other divisional commercial leaders and functions to drive incremental growth through customer value proposition.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities and share of wallet for growth, engaging with divisions to drive business development opportunities for emerging technologies or new market segments.
  • Support in-country go-to-market strategy for the BID portfolio in region including the appropriate mix between direct and distributor partners.
  • Leverage digital marketing channels to drive lead generation and improved access to target audiences.
  • Drive new product introduction (NPI) and deliver on incremental revenue targets.
  • Localize global marketing campaigns to drive revenue. Leverage global and regional marketing teams to support country sales strategies and markets.
  • Monitor market intelligence including competition; macroeconomics and the regulatory environment.
