The Opportunity
The Director of Brand Creative, reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, plays an important leadership role in defining and shaping the presence of the QVC brand to our target audience across all marketing and advertising platforms. You will set the creative course for the brand and leading the marketing-driven brand narrative. The creative guidance provided will foster emotionally resonant and culturally important storytelling that distinguishes the brand. You will collaborate with the VP of Brand Marketing to refine the brand’s equity, voice, and visual identity, translating creative concepts into reality, steering narrative and consumer interaction, and ensuring uniformity across all QVC US marketing channels.

You will maximize collaborations with external agencies and also have the capability to produce outstanding in-house content, no matter the scale of the task. Proficient cross-functional abilities are crucial, necessitating close cooperation with the live production on-air graphics team, the digital creative team, and other internal QVC creative groups to accomplish our premier retail entertainment experience.

Your Impact

  • Influence and guide creative partners (advertising agencies, internal creative services teams and external creative collaborators) and partners to implement overall creative direction in line with brand strategy. Inspire teams to think conceptually and develop big ideas while concurrently supporting the team to bring the ideas to life.
  • Lead/guide the QVC visual brand and voice representation across all areas including live broadcast, advertising, marketing, social, digital and direct mail including all internal and external assets.
  • Lead the creative development of robust brand advertising and marketing campaigns in support of main tentpole events, activations, launches and other moments.
  • Articulation of creative vision for each of our programs that guide and inspire both internal and external teams in execution of work that delivers on strategic messaging goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with company partners across all parts of the business and earn trust through consistent work.
  • Implement a full range of creative assets for various internal clients (Executive Leadership, PR, Merchandising, other) as needed to support the QVC business.
  • Build and lead a team of world class creatives pioneering our goals

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10+ years in experience developing Marketing creative across all channels (static, AV, digital) with emphasis in retail
  • Well-rounded portfolio of work/experience brand creative across platforms supporting marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of providing to creative teams, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
