Description:
DESCRIPTION
This position is hybrid/remote and can sit in, Renton/Seattle, WA, Portland/Beaverton, OR, or Irvine, CA office locations. Full-time hybrid position with possible required travel up to 10% of work schedule.
The Director oversees change management for the Enterprise Business Applications pillar under the direction of the VP and leads change management initiatives for Providence’s enterprise Oracle Cloud ERP, and UK Kronos timecard and workforce management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration or equivalent education/experience
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration or equivalent education/experience (preferred)
- 10 or more years overall experience preferably in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
- 8 years of leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
- 7 years demonstrated experience of successful delivery of large enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- 7 years of proven experience in the development of sound strategies for implementation, integration methods, business process improvement, change management, and risk management.
- 7 years of experience applying a capability maturity model (using a structured approach) to an organization. (preferred)
- 7 years of background in Management Consulting Services, Change Management, and Business Process Re-engineering. (preferred)
- 7 years of change management and planning experience in healthcare. (preferred)
- 7 years of experience standardizing complex and disparate processes. (preferred)
- 7 years of experience in process improvement methodology and change management in complex systems. (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Change Management – Strategic Functions:
- Translates initiatives into action.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive change management strategy, including strategies for stakeholder engagement during the project lifecycle, change impact assessment and readiness, and communicating with and training impacted caregivers.
- Manages customer expectations for each change initiative
- Works with vendors to ensure learning and on-demand assistance systems meet the needs of caregivers
- Continually improves and develops implementation structures and tools for change management
- Collaborates with other IS teams and training groups to align and enhance change management best practices.
Department Management:
- Provides responsive leadership. Delegates, motivates staff, and evaluates performance. Recruits, trains, motivates, and develops teams of professionals.
- Clarifies roles and responsibilities and creates accountability. Inspires passion, curiosity, and innovation. Models the organization’s vision and values.
- Balances multiple priorities and information needs across EBA programs, projects, and operational teams.
- Coordinates teamwork with multidisciplinary groups and facilitates strategy sessions.
- Builds consensus and agreement on courses of action when there are multiple perspectives. Confronts difficult problems early.
- Develops and implements standards and policies for implementations and updates of EBA applications across Providence.
- Manages project budgeting and expenditures for the Change Management team, including SaaS licensing, vendor learning contracts, and reporting of labor hours against projects.
- Leads compliance with Providence and EBA policies and procedures.
- Oversees implementations and drives changes as needed. Manages demand and resource capacity planning. Tracks metrics.
Department Operations:
- Monitors performance based on specific KPIs. Collaborates in the design of customer-centric dashboards.
- Develops and uses quantitative and qualitative data to create metrics.
- Oversees Change Management team operations
- Maintains reliable and scalable Change Management structures to support Providence’s growth and financial objectives.
- Audits complex proposals to validate goals, funding, staffing, resources, and business assumptions.
- Regularly communicates with EBA leadership, reporting status and addressing key issues, risks, schedules, and conflicts.
