Zwicker is presently seeking a Director, Collection Operations to join our team in Andover. Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum three years experience in call center/collections management preferred
- Must possess strong leadership background and must know how to handle problems quickly and in a professional manner
- Knowledge of state and federal laws relating to security and collections
- Strong written, oral, and facilitation communication skills
- Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent time management, leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Be able to lift five pounds or greater
- Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times
- Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
- Be able to read and comprehend position specific documents and correspondence
- Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
- Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule

Responsibilities:
- Implement processes and management methods to improve competitive performance and generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
- Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency.
- Interact regularly with Regional Vice President of Operations to ensure that department operational priorities are aligned with the total company direction.
- Provide on-going training and mentoring for Collection Managers and Collectors.
- Evaluates and provides feedback regarding the quality and effectiveness of calls reviewed in the Call Calibration process.
- Analyze daily competitive collection results and provides feedback to ensure Collection Managers and Collectors meet daily production goals.
- Submitting budgets on a monthly basis for clients, collectors, and collection managers for approval.
- Evaluate and conducts monthly performance reviews for all direct and indirect reports.
- Establish and maintain an environment and culture that encourages integrity and compliance
- Implements policies and practices to ensure that all units are in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for assuring the proper staffing and utilization of resources to maximize recoveries.
- Develop subordinates’ skills and competencies by planning effective development activities related to current and future jobs.
- Provide Managers and Senior Managers with feedback/reports concerning problem areas of concerns for development, training and compliance.
- Examines existing portfolios of business and clients to develop programs which motivate staff and maximize revenue and returns to the firm.
- Maintains a high level of staff morale as evidenced by team spirit, a sense of belonging, and adequate recognition of accomplishments
