Description:

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps help youth from underserved communities achieve their full potential through multi-year, overnight camp experiences. Whether at camp or back home in their communities between visits—our youth work to build social, emotional, leadership and innovation skills and behaviours like volunteerism and motivation to learn so they become civically and academically engaged, and successfully transition to adulthood.
At Tims Camps, we are catalysts for good - helping our youth participants and teammates be the best they can be, developing personal and career growth. We empower young people with skills to open doors to their future. That is our North Star and, together, we help shape leaders that build stronger communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies and initiatives to highlight the organization’s value to the Tim Hortons Brand and Restaurant Owner Community
  • Provide communications leadership for our largest and most-critical annual fundraiser – Camp Day – developing plans and materials for all communications channels including PR, social, digital and marketing
  • Actively work with key corporate stakeholders at Tim Hortons in communications, marketing, regional marketing, field operations, digital and design to ensure the cohesive delivery of Tims Camps strategies, Camp Day messaging, and other year-round fundraising and awareness opportunities
  • Develop and implement brand awareness strategy for Tims Camps including building, growing and maintaining online supporter base and traffic
  • Develop and ensure the delivery of high quality, on brand communications to the general public and Tim Hortons guests
  • Lead communications of integrated Tim Hortons restaurant owner engagement strategy – our largest and most critical donor group
  • Supervise and develop junior members of Communications team in developing and delivering compelling content and ensuring a high standard of internal and external communications asset
