DIRECTOR, CORPORATE COMPENSATION

We are currently seeking a Director, Corporate Compensation to join our team. As a member for the Corporate Human Resource team, this position is responsible for designing, implementing and managing competitive and equitable compensation and rewards programs that align with Insperity’s business objectives and support the attraction, motivation and retention of talent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Ten or more years of experience in Compensation is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience managing employees is required.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing compensation programs in a large, complex, public organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems (e.g., Workday) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership and guidance to the Corporate HR Compensation team who is responsible for all related programs and processes in these areas.
  • Leads the design, implementation and administration of all compensation programs including base pay, variable pay and equity compensation.
  • Acts as a consultant to internal stakeholders at all levels to provide expert guidance and recommendations on compensation-related matters, including offer approvals, salary adjustments, promotions and incentive plans.
  • Develops and deliver communication strategies and training programs to educate leaders and employees on compensation policies, practices, and total rewards offerings.
  • Conducts regular benchmarking and analyzes compensation practices across relevant industries and geographic locations to ensure programs remain competitive and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as a support to the Wage & Salary Committee. Ensures all new and revised job descriptions are prepared according to procedure and ready for review by Committee. Makes recommendations to the Committee in areas related to the Company’s compensation programs.
  • Leads the annual review processof compensation related activities such as salary structures, compensation and administrative guidelines, annual merit and bonus planning..
  • Stays abreast of legislative changes and industry trends affecting compensation practices, ensuring that all compensation programs are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. Modifies compensation guidelines and practices as appropriate .Collaborates with the Talent team to ensure all compensation programs are integrated with Insperity’s performance management process, promoting a pay for performance culture.
  • Works with the Corporate HR Technology team to develop, configure, implement and manage programs, policies and workflows, within Workday.
  • Utilizes data analytics and metrics to provide insights into compensation trends, cost analysis, and ROI of compensation programs, supporting data-driven decision-making. Builds inclusive and collaborative partnerships across multiple departments, with various approaches to influence and plan work around common goals.
  • Recognizes need for change across the department, oversees the development of change plans, monitoring internal and external business conditions and reporting progress.
  • Aspires to and practices the Corporate HR department mission to engage strategically with leaders and employees to serve the company culture, grow the business, and make a difference in our communities.
