JOB TITLE: Director, Corporate Trade Distribution, Corporate Trade and Working Capital Sales
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity
We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Director to join our Trade Asset Distribution team based in London. You’ll lead all activities related to corporate asset distribution and form a key connectivity between our relationship banks, the corporate coverage business, Credit, Trade Product and Trade Services and the STEM (Structuring, Transaction Execution and Management) team.
Our team is a specialist distribution team conducting asset distribution, asset acquisition and managing credit risk insurance across all trade and working capital products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Agree the corporate asset acquisition and asset distribution strategy and secure internal support across the business to find opportunities to distribute assets to third party funders.
- Expand the network of funders that Lloyds Bank purchases assets from and sells assets to, growing our relationship with existing and new to bank clients.
- Support the Group risk and profitability requirements to deliver targeted growth in the Trade and Working Capital business.
- Actively maintain product relationships within the portfolio of existing and agreed target clients.
- Identify customer needs to develop, structure and review proposals to meet customer requirements. Recognise opportunities to develop further income and economic profit, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions to clients.
- Maintaining a full understanding of our product sets including but not limited to traditional trade, open account (including receivables, payables, invoice finance and asset backed lending), structured trade and commodity finance and asset finance.
- Prepare and submit credit applications in conjunction with Coverage and STEM, aligned with defined strategy and engage with colleagues in Product, Delivery, Lending Execution and Risk as appropriate.
- Act as client point of contact for all transactions for Corporate Distribution activities, with the ability to confidently discuss technical and operational aspects of transactions.
- Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key new product service initiatives and more efficient delivery channels.
- Support the development of team members across Trade Sales. Trade Asset Distribution and STEM as we look to collaborate in order to deliver together.
