This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA
This is your chance to be part of an in-house Legal team at a top global hospitality company! As a Counsel Development Americas, you will provide legal support to our development teams as they grow our hotel and branded residential portfolio throughout the Americas. On the Legal Development team reporting to Vice President & Sr Counsel Development, you will provide substantive legal advice in the areas of hotel management agreements, branded residential projects, real estate financing, contract management, owner relations, negotiating and drafting related legal documentation, and managing outside counsel.

YOU HAVE THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) years of relevant legal transactional experience, including negotiating and supporting complex transactions (such as commercial real estate, hospitality, finance, mergers & acquisitions)
• You are admitted to practice law, active and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar, or with another state bar and registered, or be eligible to register, as in-house counsel with the Virginia State Bar
• Ability to prioritize and undertake multiple projects and critical tasks with contending pressures against deadlines
• Available for occasional business travel (1 to 4 times per year)
