A leading Aviation financing team is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst & Risk Underwriter to manage and expand its portfolio, expected to reach USD 1 billion by the end of 2025. The team focuses on senior non-recourse asset financing for midlife aircraft, with mandates across junior and corporate financing and broader aviation sectors, including specialty aircraft, and MROs. The role also involves capital market investments (HY bonds, EETCs, ABS) based on value.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-10 years of credit analysis and underwriting experience, with 5+ years in aviation/aerospace.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and regulatory experience.
  • Proven ability to challenge norms and provide independent analysis.
  • Experience in training junior staff.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation financing products and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in senior team strategy, influencing market approach, and representing the team with senior leadership.
  • Manage and mentor two junior team members, providing training and conducting performance reviews.
  • Conduct rating assessments for obligors (primarily airlines) and transactions, analysing financials, asset history, and business context.
  • Support tool development and manage funding verification
  • Oversee obligor re-rating, LTV, KRIs, and covenant monitoring.
  • Perform quarterly portfolio monitoring, coordinating with LCO data and valuation updates.
