Overview:
Permanent, full-time, hybrid (3 days per week in an office) #LI-Hybrid #LI-MH1
Reporting into the VP of Client Acquisition, Lead Gen & CVM, you will take responsibility as the Director of the CVM team across the entire Retail StoneX division. You will look for efficiencies in terms of marketing technology, processes and people – pooling your resources. By way of data analysis, optimization and automation, you will innovate and evolve the operation in order to increase the efficiency of the team’s output as well as the effectiveness of all digital communications. Digital communications are attached to various objectives including sign-ups, converting prospects into new clients, driving additional business from existing clients, reactivating lapsed clients as well as executing essential communications.
The successful candidate will be a natural leader, able to motivate their team, have the experience to develop and sell major new global projects to senior management, deliver business updates to senior management when required, maintain healthy relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, applying lateral thinking to ensure new opportunities are always maximized, find innovative ways to nurture long-term customer relationships, reduce churn, and improve engagement and lifetime value.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, lead, and motivate the CVM team who service the entire Retail StoneX division
- Oversee hiring of new employees whilst evolving the team structure ensuring business needs are always met
- Develop the overall technology stack in order to improve the efficiency of the operation, with automation at the heart, reducing the volume of manual tasks
- Sell new development projects to stakeholders and senior management for approval
- Be the point person presenting updates and results to senior management when required, and representing the team during internal marketing discussions
- Keep a pulse on the financial markets and organize reactive tactics when conditions are volatile
- Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with peers across the marketing department, as well as with the relevant IT teams
- Develop long-term strategies with the relevant stakeholders across the globe as well as short-term tactics allowing swift reaction and execution when required
- Support the stakeholders with quarterly planning
- Implement an asset testing framework to enable scientific decision making to improve the performance of communications
- Oversee targeted and triggered customer lifecycle campaigns
- Oversee campaign project management from brief to execution
- Ensure performance reports are accurate and results are communicated at the required intervals to stakeholders
- Analyse campaign data to establish trends and ensure targets are met, with the Analytics department
- Collaborating with the creative team on new promotional concepts
- Ensuring all communications are authorized by the Compliance department
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- A CVM/CRM expert with at least seven years’ operational experience
- Experienced and confident enough to develop and motivate a competent team of professionals
- The ability to articulate information clearly to both their team, peers and to senior management
- Possess the knowledge to continually evolve an operation in terms of technology and automation
- A proven track record of optimizing digital communications and journeys
- Strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations
- Advanced knowledge of platforms such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud and Pardot
- Advanced marketing analytics skills
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Advanced user of SalesForce Marketing Cloud
- Advanced user of JIRA
- Advanced user of PowerBI, Tableau or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Data analysis skills
- A/B testing methodologies
- Degree educated
- An understanding of the financial markets online trading products including forex, CFD trading, spread betting and investing is desirable
- Technical skills including HTML, CSS and SQL are desirable
