Responsibilities:
- Foster a Data-Driven Culture: Champion the management of data as a strategic organizational asset, while building strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders, technology partners and other support functions to embed data governance across the enterprise;
- Design and implement data management framework: Take charge of designing and implementing all aspects of data management including metadata management, data catalog, lineage, and data pipelines controls, ensuring seamless integration of data for critical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational use cases;
- Build and maintain Data Quality program: lead requirements gathering, perform assessment, and monitor & maintain data quality, to ensure data remains accurate, consistent, and dependable throughout its lifecycle;
- Safeguard Data Privacy and Security: Implement measures to secure sensitive information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and preventing unauthorized access or breaches;
- Manage Data Access and Usability: Enable smooth access and utilization of data resources across departments, making sure data is easily retrievable and optimally used for business needs;
- Empower data driven decision-making: ensure the organization leverages high-quality data for reporting, strategic insights, analytics, and informed decision-making processes;
- Determine Roles and Responsibilities: as we build out the Data Management office, define and allocate responsibilities including data owners, data stewards, working groups, etc. for data management and governance tasks, ensuring accountability throughout the organization.
