WHAT ARE YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE?

The successful candidate will have a portfolio of work demonstrating experience in:

  • Cloud infrastructure enablement across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Establishing analytics (including machine learning) and/or data engineering teams in new cloud environments.
  • Experience with cloud vendor assessments, contracting, and new vendor integrations.
  • Sustaining data and business products in a cloud ecosystem, including machine learning products.
  • Launching data and business products in a cloud ecosystem.
  • Establishing work cultures and product management (kanban, scrum, or similar).
  • Experience with operational cloud ecosystems and ‘day 2’ support needs.
  • Experience with eliciting requirements for data and analytic needs.
  • Experience with business use cases for advanced analytics products (traditional AI, generative AI).
  • Strong product and as-a-service approaches, including establishing customer journeys, design thinking, and agile development practices in existing technical teams.
  • Clear understanding of DM-BOK and established data governance best practices.
  • Experience with insourcing, outsourcing, and consultant work product management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in matrixed IT and business environments.
  • Fiscal management of team budgets and vendor and consultant contracts and outcomes.
