The dsm-firmenich Data and AI Unit plays a pivotal role in ensuring that data is managed as a strategic asset, driving informed decision-making and fostering innovation across the organization.
To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Data Management & Quality team. As the Director Data Management & Quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the way we handle, govern, and enhance our data assets. You will lead a team of dedicated data professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data management and strategic data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and lead an engaged and collaborative team by coaching, providing feedback and investing in the growth and development of team members.
  • Promote a high-performance culture including performance management of team members.
  • Contribute to the business strategy by acting as a delivery lead, special assignment project manager or senior product manager.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards, tools and best practices, working closely with data stewards and data owners across the organization to define and monitor data quality KPIs and measures.
  • Liaise with the Head of Group Data Office to define and implement the data management and data quality strategy in line with the overall data strategy and governance framework.
  • Assess and build current and future capabilities, manage (internal and external) capacity and relationships and ensure appropriate utilization of team members.
