We are looking for a Director, DEI & Talent Development to drive key initiatives that build an inclusive and high-performing culture at Emprise Bank. This role is critical in shaping programs that align with our mission of empowering people to thrive, with a focus on employee growth, leadership development, and fostering a workplace where all individuals feel valued. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in DEI strategy, talent management, and performance development, ensuring that our people and practices continue to evolve and support the bank’s long-term success. REQUIREMENTS
- BA in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 5+ years of experience in a human resources supervisory position
- 7+ years of experience in talent development, diversity and inclusion, or related HR field, with a focus on employee development and training.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles, instructional design, employee development, and performance management best practices. Proven track record of successfully managing development programs.
- Banking industry experience preferred
- Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software

Responsibilities:
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, fostering a culture of belonging and respect.
- Develop and analyze DEI metrics to measure progress and inform decision-making.
- Develop and deploy DEI training programs to promote an inclusive workplace.
- Create strategy on external messaging to ensure alignment with Emprise Bank values.
- Provide coaching to management on fostering an inclusive environment.
- Ensure talent processes & practices are inclusive and equitable.
Talent Management & Learning and Development
- Create talent management strategies including but not limited to talent inventories, critical position identification, individual development planning and succession planning to ensure Emprise talent capabilities keep pace with demand.
- Develop programs for high-potential (HiPo) and top talent to enhance readiness for leadership roles.
- Create comprehensive leadership development strategy inclusive of front-line manager development to senior leadership to prepare leaders for success enhancing associate performance, experience and development.
- Create employee development strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage project-related training and communications to ensure successful implementations.
- Oversee company learning & development staff to design and execute training by understanding and learning the objectives of the bank and using those to augment the culture of the organization and align with strategic goals
Performance Management
- Develop performance management strategies to align individual and organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance to HRBP & leaders on the performance management process to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
