Description:
Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneering force in the real estate and entertainment sectors in Saudi Arabia, is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to fill the role of Director - Development. This strategic position is essential for guiding the development of large-scale projects and ensuring they align with the company’s vision of creating a world-class entertainment and leisure destination.
As Director - Development, you will lead a dynamic team and oversee multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, from inception through completion. Your expertise will drive key decisions and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the company’s development strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven track record of at least a minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate development
- Proven experience leading large-scale development projects from inception to completion
- Strong understanding of project management principles, financial analysis, and market trends
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in project management software and tools
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all development initiatives within the company
- Oversee the execution of complex real estate development projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and market assessments to identify potential opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and governmental agencies
- Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms for the company
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements across all projects
- Mentor and develop the development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Prepare and present updates and reports to senior management and board members regarding project status and strategic initiatives
