  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, including hardware and embedded software engineering, to understand their needs and ensure that developer tools evolve to meet those requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline the development process and enhance productivity within and between distributed teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams across different time zones and regions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and technical teams alike.
  • Strong understanding of developer tools, IDEs, and their role in embedded engineering workflows.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and processes, especially as they relate to developer tooling.
  • Experience managing large, distributed engineering teams, ideally across Western Europe and the East Coast US.
  • Proven ability to ensure cross-team integration and alignment on tool and IDE development projects.

Strong Differentiators:

  • Experience in the embedded field, particularly with another silicon vendor, providing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this space.
  • Prior experience in the developer tooling field, including toolchain development or IDE management.
  • Experience working with open-source development projects and communities, demonstrating a commitment to leveraging and contributing to the broader open-source ecosystem.

Why Join Us:
