PURPOSE-DRIVEN COMPANY:

In this newly created role, the Director of Employee Experience (EX) & Engagement will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization by developing and implementing strategies, programs, and initiatives to enhance our employee experience, drive positive employee engagement, foster a culture of inclusion, and evolve our talent strategy to ensure alignment with SBD’s values, goals, and business objectives. In this role, you’ll be part of our Talent Management team working as a hybrid employee if located near New Britain, CT or Towson, MD otherwise, you’ll be remote. What you’ll be doing:
- Employee Experience (EX): Lead SBD’s employee experience like the customer experience, using feedback from our team members to co-create and deliver a powerful employee experience strategy with impactful action plans that help our employees thrive. Influence the entire employee lifecycle, including the way employees onboard, connect, collaborate, and celebrate success focused on developing a best-in-class experience for our employees and teams.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, including driving a modern approach to listening through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and action plans that improve overall engagement and retention. Establish best practice toolkits and deploy regional to support employee engagement efforts.
- Employee Value Proposition (EVP): Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Marketing, Communications, HRBPs, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to launch and maintain SBD’s EVP and set SBD apart from other companies. Design and deploy meaningful experiences to bring our EVP to life and sustain the experience over time and across locations/geographies.
- Culture & Values: Partner closely with our DE&I team to champion and drive initiatives that promote a productive, inclusive culture anchored to our values by leveraging data from assessments and surveys to understand cultural dynamics and inform actions for improvement. Coach and advise leaders and business partners, introducing and facilitating culture and wellbeing programs across the enterprise.
- Reporting & Analytics: Conduct regular assessments and analysis of workforce demographics, performance, employee engagement, and other key experience metrics to identify and prioritize areas for improvement, build business cases with ROI, track progress over time, and drive continuous improvement.
- Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects. Develop detailed project plans, set clear milestones, manage resources and budgets, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Proactively communicate, establish rituals and routines, manage governance, and identify and resolve issues and risks
