Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

Facilitate cross-divisional architectural design reviews, including documenting decisions, feedback, and action items from each review to maintain transparency and accountability.
Develop standardized review processes and checklists for evaluating enterprise architecture at each control point.
Provide guidelines, and templates to maintain consistency and compliance across applications.
Assess, document and maintain a list of sanctioned use cases for major tools / technologies and establish a process to obtain approval to expand use cases to better limit use case proliferation
Oversee enterprise architecture activities and enforce policies.
Monitor architecture drift and manage use cases across Digital Technology Services, including defining and documenting the baseline enterprise architecture to serve as a reference point for future changes.
Maintain a centralized repository for use cases and align them with the enterprise architecture.
Develop capability models that illustrate how technology supports business objectives, assess gaps in capabilities, and recommend improvements.
Maintain a set of architecture assets. It is mentioned throughout in bits but as a key responsibility, those assets are going to be critical to governance e.g. patterns, standards, guardrails, capability map, architecture templates, permits. This is a role that will work with other cross divisional enterprise architects to harmonize those assets too. I also think there is an educational piece here, which is to ensure that those who need to produce architectures are using those assets.

OUR PURPOSE:

Progress is not a self-starter. It requires a catalyst to be set in motion. Information, imagination, people, technology–the right combination can unlock possibility and change the world.
Our world is in transition and getting more complex by the day. We push past expected observations and seek out new levels of understanding so that we can help companies, governments and individuals make an impact on tomorrow. At S&P Global we transform data into Essential Intelligence®, pinpointing risks and opening possibilities. We Accelerate Progress.
