This position reports to the Leader, Global Event Management. The Director, Enterprise Events & Activations is an enabler of successful global experiences – providing focused management and the ability to execute customized end-to-end novel solutions. The Director is a strategic advisor who brings forward creative, boundary-pushing ideas, knowledge of designed experiences and production/staging, and transforms them into dynamic, engaging outcomes. This position interacts with senior level management and manages direct reports. Event marketing and event execution experience is required.
All candidates must exhibit extensive global experience in the following key areas:
Production | Experienced total project management for global virtual, in-person, and hybrid events including webcasting, technical direction, staffing crews and full management of third-party agencies from theme and creative narrative to on site execution.
Creative selling | Proficient in concept development, out of the box creativity, and the ability to sell a vision and bespoke experience to C-Suite executives.
Ability to influence | Demonstrate ability to influence, advise and command an audience at the C-Suite level.
Key Responsibilities:

TECHNOLOGY: HYBRID MEETING EXPERIENCES

  • Manages hybrid events
  • Knowledge of virtual event platforms, registration solutions and third party applications (Poll Everywhere, CVENT, etc)
  • Advances creative hybrid solutions; open to new ideas and services
  • Works closely with Sr. Technical Strategist

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelors required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 10 Years of Fortune 100 Planning Experience
  • People Leader Experience, Project Management, Budget Management & Reconciliation, Verbal & Written Communication Skills, Performance Management.
  • High degree of confidence, problem solving & independent judgement in business situations
  • Proven relationships with event design and production agencies required
  • Experience and cultural understanding of global markets and event practices oversees in the luxury market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, team player, self-starter and able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Prior hotel experience preferred but not required

Other:

  • Percentage of global travel 35-50%

Salary:
The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.
The base pay range for this position is $137,000 -$235,750.
Bonus:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
