Description:

We’re looking for a Director of Enterprise Systems to join us in at our Shared Service Centre in Bradford
The Director of Enterprise Systems Managed Services will be instrumental in driving growth through new customers and technologies, as Liberty Shared Services continues its journey from being an internal cost centre to a profit making, Global Business Services provider.
The team is already 75 strong and spans multiple countries, customers, products and industries. This role requires a commercial strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and deep technical expertise to drive our tech and ops transformation; ensuring our systems and services meet internal and external customer expectations effectively.
What will you be doing?

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Managed Services team, focusing on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and broadening product and industry expertise across all service lines and geographies.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately 75 professionals across various Enterprise Systems, whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Customers & KPIs

  • Own customer relationships to improve their experience whilst driving resource allocation efficiencies across long-term contracts.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and user adoption via UI enhancement, effective change management and training programs, measured through relevant metrics & KPIs (e.g. NPS).

Technology

  • Manage and optimise all existing systems (CRM, ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM), including licenses & usage, across both on premise and cloud architecture.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and integration of new capabilities and verticals in alignment with growth plan (or decommissioning / sunsetting where applicable).

Delivery

  • Driving operating cost efficiencies to improve EBITDA %.
  • Manage strategic relationships with near / offshore delivery partners.

Growth

  • Ensure systems and processes are scalable and adaptable to new market requirements, supporting an expansion strategy that includes flexible delivery models (onshore, offshore, nearshore, hybrid).

We tend to look for people with:

Essential:

  • Significent experience in Enterprise Systems management, including a leadership role in a global setting.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems, especially within Oracle, Microsoft and SAP.
  • Strong commercial and customer management skills, with experience of expansion into new markets and supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Wider understanding of the technology industry and emerging trends (e.g. LLMs, CloudOps) and how to leverage it to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing relationships with external IT service providers.
  • Ability to lead change management and strategy building for accelerating digital transformation is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for dealing with C-Suite stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of software development processes, data management, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle).
