Description:

DIRECTOR - ESG TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director to join Aon’s ESG transaction advisory team, one of the solution lines within Aon’s M&A and Transactions Solutions (AMATS) practice.
With ESG considerations continuing to receive greater scrutiny (both in a due diligence as well as in a portfolio context), we are looking to grow the AMATS ESG team and are looking for an experienced ESG professional who, reporting into the Global Head of ESG Transaction Advisory Services, can drive revenue growth while ensuring execution excellence across multi-disciplinary teams.
The growth of AMATS globally will create opportunities for career progression with the potential to move into leaderships roles, take on greater responsibility, own and drive initiatives either within the ESG or the wider team. More broadly, as a global organisation Aon offers significant career opportunities for its high performing talent both domestically and internationally.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

PROPOSITION DEVELOPMENT

  • Building on the AMATS Climate proposition, support the refinement of the broader ESG transaction advisory offering – pre and post deal.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

  • An ESG/ Sustainability professional with a track record of relevant sustainability-focussed advisory experience (gained either in-house or at a management consultancy).
  • Deep knowledge of the evolving ESG regulatory landscape (both voluntary and mandatory) and the impact on ESG Due Diligence, disclosures & reporting.
  • UK/EMEA or broader experience in M&A or other transactions; preferably with infrastructure sector experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of excellent project management skills with experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience and a track record of deal origination and sales growth.
  • First-class interpersonal and communication skills - both written (e.g., Word, PowerPoint) and verbal. Spreadsheet proficiency helpful.
  • Language skills: English (a second language is a preference)
