Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

  • UK Capgemini is hiring a Senior Portfolio Manager / Director to join the EMEA FCC Advisory Solutions team based in London.
  • Directors are leaders in the firm who offer advice and end-to-end advisory-led business solutions to clients in managing their complex and critical financial crime compliance (FCC) risk management and governance requirements.
  • FCC expands beyond Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions & Embargoes and includes Anti-Fraud and Investigations Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as other criminal offenses affecting a financial institution or multi-national corporation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Typically working in teams Directors lead large complex assignments and are responsible for overseeing the planning execution and reporting stages of multiple advisory client engagements managing key client relationships.
  • Directors have knowledge in a range of areas are considered subject matter experts in some and are aware of emerging industry and risk trends and contribute to thought leadership and new product design.
  • They also have a wide network within the markets that they service across financial services including senior stakeholders which they can leverage to identify opportunities and close sales.
  • Business Development & Growth Participate in business development initiatives that include targeting existing and potential clients attending industry conferences drafting client alerts and white papers and speaking engagements. Ability to identify sales opportunities and progress in conjunction with other team members. Working with client account partners to identify suitable FCC projects and develop internal & external stakeholder relationships as required.
  • Product Knowledge & Development Input to the development of cutting-edge products and services that will meet client needs and are considered globally where available. Keep abreast and maintain an understanding of financial crime related current and emerging regulations regulatory drivers and business strategies to enable effective evaluation of governance risk management and compliance environments in financial institutions and corporations. Specific jurisdictional regulatory knowledge. Maintain an effective professional network to stay informed of developments within the industry.
  • Provide governance compliance and risk management thought leadership and guidance via external presentations publications etc.
  • Proactively help identify best practices across Capgemini and externally with peers in the industry. Leadership & Firm Governance Act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues.
  • Responsible for oversight and technical execution of compliance risk and governance advisory work conducted by teams within areas of responsibility, which may include S166 / Skilled Person Reviews or other end to end regulatory led engagements. Development and management of teams. Development and line management of junior level staff. Leading in proposal development and client pitches.
  • Client Service Responsible for overseeing effective planning management and execution of client engagements. Lead teams on client engagements ensuring teams are adequately supervised delivering high quality products and services on time and to budget and dealing with any barriers to progress appropriately
