Title and Summary
Director, Finance Business Partner, MPMS
Overview
The Mastercard Prepaid Management Services team is seeking a Director, Finance Business Partner, to drive our strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving.
This role is part of the Consumer Product and Processing finance team. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving revenue via new verticals and expanding the core base, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
You will be supporting the Prepaid Management Services Business Lead by partnering across multiple functions to deliver results as as well as the larger Consumer Product and Processing business.
This role requires you to be in our Peterborough office at least two days per week.
Role

Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the business, including Deal Approval
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions;
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Operating Committee to identify their financial needs and seek full range of business solutions
  • Provide senior management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should:

  • Partner closely with senior management to align financial goals against business deliverables – must be able to develop strong relationships and be able to influence decision making
  • Prior experience in the construct and critical review of customer and supplier contracts
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive regional business and product development agendas
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential
  • Proven ability to build high performing teams, history of strong leadership, teamwork and an excellent business partnering
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced, high growth and dynamic environment
  • Experience working in a multi-regional and global Finance organization
  • Experience working in Foreign Exchange and/or Hedging and Exposure Management environment preferred
  • Bachelors Degree; CPA/CA/Masters qualified preferred
  • Understanding of Prepaid Cards issuing, and processor mechanics would be a plus
