Description:
At Dataiku, we’re not just adapting to the AI revolution, we’re leading it. Since our beginning in Paris in 2013, we’ve been pioneering the future of AI with a platform that makes data actionable and accessible. With over 1,000 teammates across 25 countries and backed by a renowned set of investors, we’re the architects of Everyday AI, enabling data experts and domain experts to work together to build AI into their daily operations, from advanced analytics to Generative AI.
The Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) team is responsible for building and maintaining the Data and Analytics stack used by analysts across the whole company. On the Data side, this includes the Snowflake data warehouse, replicating source system data into Snowflake, Data Engineering, governance, and security. On the Analytics side, this includes building, cataloging, and documenting Single-Source-of-Truth (SSOT) datasets across multiple source systems and metrics, ownership of the calculation and reporting of key company metrics, and training and enabling analysts across the company in their use of the data platform.
This new role, reporting directly to the VP of ED&A, will add a third core responsibility to the team - development and support for Generative AI applications to support the whole of Dataiku. Building within the data platform maintained by the rest of the ED&A team, this role will:
- Gather requirements for GenAI applications from departments across Dataiku
- Build GenAI applications to solve real business problems and create measurable efficiencies in existing and new business processes in partnership with senior cross-functional stakeholders
- Build a team of highly technical ICs to develop these applications
- Launch, document, maintain, and iterate these applications, working closely with the ED&A Data team to ensure the data platform is fit for purpose
- Work with the ED&A Analytics team to create a framework and process for maintaining metadata on reference datasets suitable for consumption by LLMs
- Be a key member of GenAI Steerco to put in place a process for company-wide development, especially focussed on internal policy, governance and regulatory adherence
- Work with the Technology and Data Science teams to further advance Dataiku’s GenAI capabilities, particularly from a user and developer experience standpoint
- Manage the migration of existing GenAI apps onto our centralized data platform
- Provide agile support to GenAI development across the company, including testing of new functionality before we provide to customers
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background - this role will require hands-on development as well as team management - with many years’ experience in internal-facing data and analytics, and experience successfully implementing GenAI solutions that drive measurable and meaningful operational improvement. Just as important will be excellent communication and business partnering skills, backed up by deep understanding of business processes.
