Description:

Maytronics, the leading innovator in automatic pool robotics and parent company to the Dolphin brand, is in search of a Director, Global eCommerce Marketing. We’ve grown at an exciting pace over the past few years, and we are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team.
The Director, Global eCommerce Marketing, is responsible for leading eCommerce marketing efforts across multiple regions of Maytronics. The primary function of this position is to take full responsibility for all eCommerce sales marketing functions and to foster a forward-thinking marketing team aligned with global strategy. This position will lead direct-to-consumer digital advertising, website, marketplace, social community, and PPC strategies to ensure maximum return on marketing outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create a comprehensive eCommerce marketing strategic plan and vision for the North America and European markets, which will include input from other members of the leadership team.
  • Have the pulse of the prevailing consumer trends, behaviors and needs and translate this into actionable marketing & sales strategies and tactics
  • Lead and develop global teams across marketing functions including; Brand Management, Social Community Management, Digital Advertising, Catalog and Website management
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans to drive company revenue targets, and budget bottom-line profitability.
  • Drive the “voice of the customer” into the culture of the marketing team as well as the company overall.
  • Continually strive to foster a culture of strategic and creative solutions from the marketing department.
  • Serve as both a manager and leader of the eCommerce marketing organization by acting as a player/coach.
  • Provide meaningful analytics on the performance of various marketing campaigns, making appropriate strategic adjustments where necessary.
  • Have a deep understanding of competition and the competitive landscape
  • Help define and position products to maximize value proposition.
  • Track all/any trends in the industry while identifying opportunities for emerging or new products.
  • Collaborate with global marketing partners on projects and key initiatives

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Majors in business and/or marketing communications preferred.
  • 10 years in progressive positions in eCommerce marketing.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent platform.
  • Experience developing a comprehensive GTM plan.
  • Experience working in a multi-channel sales environment is preferred.
  • Experience working as a player/coach, not only in developing the strategic plan, but also serving as an active member of the team.
  • Travel will be required periodically throughout North America with some international trips as needed.
  • Experience working with global companies is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
