EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience in specialist market access consultancy with a proven track record across a wide range of global market access consultancy project types (client management, project leadership & management and content delivery) and/or global/regional affiliate-facing pharmaceutical market access roles with a proven track record in market access strategic planning, landscaping, pricing & reimbursement across nationally reimbursed and non-reimbursed markets and in-market access activities.
Experience and gravitas to shape and facilitate free-flowing strategic discussions with senior clients and provide robust, well considered advice to different business challenges
Experience of payer value drivers and payer decision making processes at national/regional level from extensive personal engagement with payers through primaryresearch and facilitation of advisory boards and/or directly from roles as a payer or in a payer customer-facing role. Experience of patient advocacy work is a plus.
Breadth of experience of pharma/biotech commercialization and distribution models in different market access archetypes and in different compliance frameworks
Deep understanding of the challenges and best practice ways of working pharma/ biotech global market access teams need pre-launch and how changes in the external environment are shaping what global market access clients need support achieving.
Experience of developing and facilitating senior multi-disciplinary client workshops across global markets, including negotiation excellence
Depth of experience in extracting, interpreting and critical appraisal of complex clinical and health economic data sets to create compelling payer/payer influencer messaging.
Experienced, supportive team line manager and coach with outstanding work ethic, commitment and organisational skills to deliver timely, high-quality work.
Exemplary proficiency in written and verbal English
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role includes driving thought leadership and designing, selling and delivering de-novo patient access consultancy solutions to the meet current and emerging needs of pharma/biotech global market access teams. The Director will be expected to take a leadership role within the GPASC practice to help shape and work with leadership the strategic direction of a set of service offerings. This role is hands-on selling and project delivery and requires the highest levels of understanding of the current external pharma/biotech client environment and an in-depth knowledge of both national and sub national payer/ payer influencer value drivers. The role requires high levels of experience in providing strategic counsel to clients, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of high-quality content delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Duties will include business development with an expectation to create and drive thought leadership and to build a portfolio of business with new and existing clients.
Projects will involve working with senior global/ regional market access clients to anticipate and implement solutions and initiatives to ensure that fully enabled in-market patient access and commercial pull through is achieved as close as possible to marketing authorization and sustained until loss of exclusivity.
Projects are diverse and bespoke and may include phase II health system impact planning, early and late stakeholder belief mapping/tracking, designing and implementing cross-functional access toolkits and conducting post launch patient access deep dives and action plans.
Many GPASC practice consultancy solutions include integral payer insight methodologies such as payer depth interviews and payer advisory boards.
You will sell, lead, coach and be a hands-on in the delivery of project work.
