Description:
Are you an ambitious rewards professional with a passion for developing reward practices in an international scale? If so, we invite you to join our company as a Director, Global Rewards and help us in our journey of creating a positive performance culture.
About the Role
Director, Global Rewards is a senior specialist within Stora Enso Head Office (HO) organization responsible for shaping global rewards practices, processes, and initiatives. In a Center of Excellence (CoE) role, you take ownership and lead the design of reward and performance development processes. In a matrix organization you will extend your leadership to the Global Business Services (GBS) Compensation & Benefits team, which manages operational processes.
You will work closely with the divisional People & Culture SVPs and their teams to identify business needs for development initiatives. You will consult and provide CoE expertise to divisional teams in their development activities and ensure corporate level alignment where required. Further, you collaborate closely with the GBS C&B team to turn requirements into business process definitions and Workday functionalities. You contribute to Workday compensation development and participate in process testing from time to time.
We expect you to manage projects independently and drive them forward with necessary stakeholders. Additionally, together with HO Rewards you will engage in various corporate governance-related annual activities and executive compensation development initiatives. Considering your skills and experience, you may take ownership of international assignments policies and processes.
This role reports to Head Office Rewards.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role we expect you have several years of rewards and process development experience in a global organization. You are experienced in developing reward and performance development processes and experience and interest in managing executive contracts and rewards is seen as beneficial.
The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the Finnish Corporate Governance Code and proven experience engaging effectively with senior executives in a corporate environment. Proficiency in executing processes within Workday or a comparable SaaS system is essential. The role also requires strong, clear communication skills to convey ideas effectively, along with a demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results through collaborative engagement with others.
What We Offer
We offer you the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s rewards practices and contribute to creating a positive performance culture. This position is ideal for driven individuals who are looking to advance their careers and aspire to move into leadership role at some point.
If you have a passion for driving success and a keen understanding of the global business landscape, we want to hear from you. By joining us, you will contribute towards a more sustainable world, as we believe that anything made from fossil-based materials today can be made from a tree tomorrow.
With our values in Stora Enso, “Lead and Do what’s right”, we expect high performance, speed and agility in every part of our organization. Safety and wellbeing are our top priority every day. We inspire you to lead your growth and to set the ambition high.
