Overview
In this key position, you will lead the “Supporting Functions SCM” of the SKAN Group. You will coordinate and expand our international production sites, contribute to shaping the growth strategy, and promote a positive working environment. Your responsibilities also include ensuring on-time delivery, optimizing processes, and developing long-term strategies. You will report directly to the CEO of the SKAN Group and work closely with the management team and site managers.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of the “Supporting Functions SCM” within the SKAN Group (Global Procurement, Global Planning and Logistics)
  • Coordination and expansion of the international SKAN production sites in line with the SKAN Group’s growth strategy, in close collaboration with the site managers
  • Co-creation of the SKAN growth strategy in the area of Supply Chain Management and implementation of the respective strategies
  • Fostering employees and a positive, performance-driven working environment (self-responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking, professional support)
  • Ensuring high delivery reliability and execution quality for individual projects, in collaboration with Process Solutions, Service and Sales
  • Ensuring and expanding the S&OP process for the SKAN Group, linked with project organizations and finances
  • Continuous improvement of cost efficiency within the overall project execution
  • Ensuring competitive delivery times
  • Development of standardization, efficiency improvements and process optimization

Hardskills

  • Master’s degree in Engineering with additional business management training
  • Many years of experience in a global supply chain organization
  • Extensive experience in leading management teams and managing multiple projects
  • Proven competence in creating and adhering to department budgets
  • Desirable: Experience with quality management systems
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
