Description:

Qiddiya Investment Company, a leading real estate company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as the Director of Governance. As the Director of Governance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and driving ethical practices and transparency across the organization. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Proven track record of at least a minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in governance, compliance, or related areas
  • Strong knowledge of governance principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for the Development Committee, including agenda management, compliance reviews, and decision follow-ups.
  • Maintain a repository of all decisions and actions.
  • Develop and implement governance strategies and policies
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
  • Oversee the implementation of effective risk management processes
  • Lead and manage the governance team, providing guidance and support
  • Provide advice and support to senior management on governance matters
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in corporate governance
