Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and visionary Director, Group Control. You will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all financial reporting activities. With your leadership you ensure a well controlled internal and external reporting to have the company’s financials right and to be compliant with external and internal requirements. The function is responsible for the group business controlling activities.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead MacGregor’s Group reporting & business controlling team

Financial Reporting:

  • Lead the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders for MacGregor group
  • Coordination of country finance activities ensuring that we are meeting the statutory requirements in local country entities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and corporate policies
  • Develop and implement MCG accounting standards & reporting instructions
  • Ensure efficient external audit processes
  • Communicate financial accounting results and analysis to senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Work closely with sustainability team for seamless CSRD reporting

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks to the organisation and reflect that in financial reporting
  • Work closely with external and internal audit and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Process Improvement:
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting
  • Drive initiatives to streamline reporting systems and improve data accuracy

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead the Group Control team
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, business divisions, legal, sustainability and other departments, to achieve objectives
  • Maintain good relationships with external auditors and other external stakeholders.
