Responsibilities:

WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT:

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a Director, Healthcare Program Planning to lead our efforts in revolutionizing healthcare products and solutions for Canadians. Reporting to the Senior Director, Healthcare Strategy and Transformation, this role will support the advancement of the Connected Health Network (CHN) strategy across the organization. The Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute clinical programs and coordinate health and wellness communication activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop new clinical programs aligned to the execution of the Connected Health Network strategy
  • Oversight and monitoring of market trends, competitor analysis, and advances in healthcare to embed within strategy and implementation
  • Create business cases to demonstrate the value and financial viability of new clinical programs
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful execution of new clinical programs
  • Oversee the activities CHN Strategy with the Senior Director, including program planning, developing work plans, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and identifying new opportunities
  • Support with communication activities, identifying synergies and opportunities for collaboration and creating processes to manage these activities
