Description:
DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS;
The EPC Division health, safety, and environment (HSE), security, to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with both standard and regulatory requirements as relevant for all projects.
Maintain the project schedule and safety standards to meet the customer requirements.
Involve in high level investigation & Investigate accidents effectively and determine root cause analysis along with project clients.
Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement to safety related matters.
Liaise with project managers / client / stakeholders as deemed necessary for discussion on project safety matters and resolve issues.
Oversee the requirement of client’s manpower, equipment and various other resource requirements and ensure optimum use of the same by ensuring cost control is exercised throughout the year.
Implement and monitor EPC policy & procedures to meet the EPC project requirements.
Coordinates loss prevention insurance reviews and associated action plans.
Drive and support the business in implementing HSE Contractor and Contract management process and standards.
Continuously develop the risk-based contractor and contract management standards, reflecting the scope and needs of the EPC business including the growth in third party services.
Support procurement process of global tenders EPC projects – prequalification of contractors and definition of methods of control and mitigation of risks as per client’s project requirement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recognized degree in HSE/Science or Engineering or any related discipline.
Lead Auditor – ISO 45001
NEBOSH certificate qualification
IOSH Managing Safely
Safety Risk Assessment
Accident Investigation
Safety inspections experience
Managerial skills for handling EPC project clients globally who are from various cultural backgrounds
10 to 12 years working experience in HSE or related field in conversion and new building, oil& gas facilities with minimum of 2 to 3 years as functional head.
Knowledge in Safety Management & tools, knowledge of OHS Management System & ISO 45001.
Knowledge in Environment Management & tools, knowledge of Environmental Management System & ISO 14001-2015.
Knowledge in International Security Management system standards and International Ship and Port Facility (ISPS).
Knowledge on subcontractors’ selection globally and compliance verification to meet EPC project and client requirements.
Knowledge of local & International legal / regulatory OHSES requirements and its applicability to the company.
Knowledge in International Association of Oil & Gas Producers standards (IOGP).
Knowledge of relevant local & International safety standards and practices.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
EPC Project management skills to prepare and execute initial meetings and kick off meetings along with EPC global clients
