Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead and manage the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR leadership, strategic planning, and operational management. As the Director of HR, you will be responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies that support the organization’s business objectives. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Reporting Relationship: The Director of Human Resources reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of advanced HR knowledge is required at the manager and director level.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Talent Management:
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee performance management processes, including performance appraisals, feedback, and employee development plans.
- Implement succession planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement through effective communication, recognition programs, and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company policies.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Lead efforts in risk management related to employee relations and workplace safety.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
- Organizational Development:
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including change management, leadership development, and employee training programs.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the organization.
- HR Operations:
- Manage the HR department budget and optimize HR processes for efficiency.
- Oversee HR technology systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
- Lead HR metrics reporting and analytics to inform decision-making.
