We provide environmental impact assessment services to Energy, Transport, Mining and Defence market sectors, and have an exciting backlog of renewables and energy transition projects.
Our services help clients anticipate and manage the environmental impact at each stage of the project: planning and obtaining permits for new facilities; decommissioning, clean-up and closure of contaminates sites and surplus operations facilities; restoration for reuse; addressing critical climate – change issues; protection or restoration of habitats and water quality and the preservation of culture resource.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Our IAP Technical Practice covers a range of service offerings within the Environment Business Line including obtaining Statutory Environmental Approvals, undertaking environmental constraints analysis, auditing, environmental compliance and environmental impact assessment. The IAP team is also responsible for implementing marine and terrestrial field surveys required to inform EIA process.

WHAT WILL A DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE:

Our WA Environment Business has a fantastic career opportunity for a Director to join our Impact Assessment and Permitting (IAP) Team in Perth. Reporting to the Work Group Lead, this role will see you providing technical leadership and oversight within our group across a broad range of market sectors including Energy, Transport, Mining and Defence.

  • Provide technical leadership and innovation, driving the strategic development and continued growth of our business.
  • Utilise strong client relationships and significant industry experience to support development and training of leading-edge technical skills.
  • Build the technical capability of our team, focusing on enhancing their skills and expertise.
  • Apply exceptional understanding of EIA at both State and Commonwealth levels and the specific environmental challenges presented by the different market sectors that AECOM works with.
