The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture works to enable a prosperous, market driven agricultural industry through a supportive legislative framework, policies, programs, and services. Within the Ministry, the Policy Branch provides leadership in the analysis, development, and communication of agricultural policies and programs, including business risk management, governance, transportation, and environment and resource policy.
The Ministry is seeking a collaborative and innovative leader for the role of the Director, Intergovernmental Relations to lead intergovernmental strategy and advance Saskatchewan’s agricultural interests with other provinces, territories, and the federal government. Expertise in government decision-making processes, intergovernmental relations, and collaboration, combined with an ability to navigate new and emerging challenges is essential for success.
