Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:
- Ensure business cases are developed in alignment with Transport for NSW and NSW Treasury policies, compliance standards, and business case guidelines in adherence with the strategic investment framework and requirements.
- Oversee and manage capital investments optimising the allocation and utilisation of capital resources across the portfolio.
- Drive value creation through optioneering, scope optimisation to ensure best value for money option, and alignment with required customer outcomes and organisational goals.
- Be responsible for enterprise investor assurance guidelines to inform business case development, economic appraisal and benefit realisation management.
- Build and manage relationships with external assurance agencies including NSW Treasury, Infrastructure NSW (INSW) and the Department of Customer Service to ensure compliance with gateway assurance requirements.
- Provide strategic advice to all divisions to drive high quality business cases that meet Transport, INSW, NSW Treasury and Australian Government requirements for capital and recurrent projects.
- Set vision and purpose for your team, with a focus on engagement, capability uplift and delivering results.
