JOB SUMMARY:

Marriott has an exciting opportunity for a Director on the Corporate Systems team within the Finance domain. This role is part of a team owning technology and supporting Marriott’s critical enterprise applications.

This position functions as a team leader and is accountable for supporting existing applications/capabilities as well as new solutions and capabilities. This role will make sure that Marriott has the right solutions designed considering impacts to the system health, overall operational system performance metrics, business process efficiencies and alignment to overall technical direction of the finance platform(s).

  • Responsible for the end to end technical and functional solutions across multiple integrated business processes.
  • Leads team members, service providers, and vendors to align on proposed architecture and solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Lead architecture discussions on new proposals and enhancements and/or business process requirements.
  • Performs research, analysis, design, and implementation of applications to meet current and future user requirements.
  • Directs Service Providers, vendors and team members to modify and maintain existing applications to address changes in business processes.
  • Ensures Service Providers achieve contracted service delivery outcomes by leading requirements and design reviews.
  • Monitors multiple projects by Service Providers and internally managed applications to successful completion pre the expected architecture and designs.
  • Manages department budgets and licensing with vendors.
  • Resolves and makes decisions on more complex, non-routine service requests with limited to moderate risk.
