Description:

The Director, PIE is responsible for contributing to the implementation of government, departmental and CSQ priorities. As part of the CSQ leadership group the Director will lead, develop, and implement CSQ’s strategic initiatives and contribute to organisational outcomes across the state. They will lead change and ensure the strategic alignment of their team with the overall CSQ vision.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to CSQ and whole-of-Government service delivery priorities to deliver quality outcomes aligned with community expectations.
Undertake dual functionality through the role of Deputy Principal Registrar, enabling the position to exercise statutory duties, powers and functions under the provisions of relevant legislation.
Translate strategic goals into implementable actions to support CSQ to ensure court operations are aligned with CSQ’s vision and deliver effective customer- focused services.
Effectively lead PIE to support CSQ in line with legislative and regulatory frameworks, policies and delegated authority, ensuring adherence to ethical decision-making principles and standards.
Sponsor and lead change to develop and maintain an organisational culture that actively seeks opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in support of excellence in service delivery.
Analyse and solve diverse and complex problems and provide strategic and operational support to the Senior Director Court Operations and the Assistant Director-General, Magistrates Courts Service.
Work collaboratively to drive the development of CSQ capability and align workforce resources and talent to deliver CSQ priorities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the judiciary and foster collaborative networks and partnerships with external stakeholders to co-design and plan for improvements in services.
Ensure a high standard of financial, resource, risk management and reporting systems are embedded across CSQ.
