Air Inuit Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing their tradition of providing safe, punctual and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a valid “AME” license.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in accordance with CAR regulations and an “OMA”.
  • Have acquired a minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance service or direct supervision of maintenance service on types similar to those of the organization, including 6 months obtained during the last two years.
  • Be bilingual (French and English).
  • Have knowledge of the operation and standards 604. 705 experience is considered an additional asset.
  • Have no record of conviction for an offence under section 7.3 of the Act.
  • Experience on Dash-8-400 and 300 type is a considerable asset.
  • Obtain authorization from Transport Canada to act in this capacity according to CAR 706.03 standards.
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain a restricted area access pass from Transport Canada and must have a valid passport.
  • Available to travel outside occasionally.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Maintenance (DOM) is responsible for all activities of the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) in accordance with the policies set out in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM), including the AMO’s quality assurance program and monitoring of the SMS program for maintenance issues.

  • Participate in the HQ Operation Safety Management System.
  • Submit to the Ministry a signed declaration attesting to the acceptance of responsibilities as Person Responsible for Maintenance (“PRM”).
