Job Description
The CosMc’s Marketing & Menu Director spearheads the brand and menu strategy, proactively finding opportunities to evolve as the business evolves. The role, along with the team they oversee, is the voice of the consumer in conversations and monitors social sentiment and business results to identify areas of opportunity both in how the brand presents itself as well as how the restaurant operates and engages with customers.
Moving into 2025, the role will own the integrated agency team in building an IMC plan that addresses the business needs for the first half of the year as the brand wraps the pilot stage. This includes leading resource allocation across agencies, being responsible for creative execution and building a learning plan that will address key questions to inform the decision on the pilot.
The ideal candidate will be a strong performer, with expertise in and knowledge of multiple subject areas and experience interacting across functions and directly with Company leadership. This candidate will also have an entrepreneurial approach, comfort with ambiguity and agile ways of working, and willingness to evolving the role and responsibilities as the business continues to evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience required in related field (e.g., Marketing, Menu Strategy, Consumer Insights)
  • Bachelors degree in related field required (e.g., Marketing)
  • Experience working with McD vendors and other marketing tools to execute on marketing campaigns and other marketing needs
  • Creative problem-solver with ability to thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to adopt new agile ways of working and not be limited by historical McD approaches
  • Exceptional leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills to work optimally with teams throughout the organization ; excellent presentation delivery and storytelling skills
  • Forward thinking and able to anticipate immediate and long-term implications of potential decisions; ability to identify dependencies across multiple initiatives
  • Must have flexibility for potential travel across U.S. geographies

Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement strategy for menu evolution advised by business results and consumer feedback – leading cross-functional implementation across team (e.g., Marketing, Consumer Insights, Operations, Supply Chain, Field, etc.)
  • Oversee execution of brand strategy including paid media, community engagement, LSM, CRM and digital ordering channels. Lead team in charge of execution
  • Lead agency team in creation of 2025 Marketing Plan including role of channels, resource allocation and creative execution.
  • Be responsible for design and execution of Learning Plan including consumer testing on customer experience, product quality, brand relevance and incrementality.
  • Oversee cross-functional team engaged in using customer data to uncover insights
  • Oversee and provide direction for external comms plan and key press materials for new news
  • Oversee the creation of presentations to senior management, as necessary
