Our Energy & Natural Resources (ENR) team has a unique opportunity for a Project Director to assist in driving and leading projects in our growing Mining and Metals sector in Brisbane.
This is a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of different Mining clients and projects both regionally and nationally as required.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of established study management and project delivery frameworks, and who has the vision and desire to challenge our ways of working in order to bring about better outcomes for our clients and our teams.

As an effective Director of Mining and Metals, you will have demonstrable experience in:

• Business Development, opportunity identification, bid and tender development, negotiation and contract close out
• Study Management and Project Development through to Execution.
• Good understanding across Project Controls services, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
• Help grow the brand through strategic business development and focused client relationships.
• Ability to deliver all services in a project director and/or project governance role
• Leading our existing key client relationships, developing plans and implementing strategies for growth.
• Creating new client relationships and opportunities in the marketplace.
• Identifying and developing exceptional people as part of ongoing growth in the ENR team.
• Displaying excellence in service delivery leadership.
• Taking responsibility for their own deliverables and ensuring all commitments are completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 20+ years of relevant industry experience predominantly in the Mining & Metals sector in Queensland.
• Full working rights and currently living in Australia.
• A recognised Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
• Track record of engaging and influencing clients at a senior level as a Client and Project Director
• Clear understanding of, and ability to, implement strategy for growth, with clear relevance to the local market context.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
• Demonstrable reputation for challenge, innovation and continued improvement.
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes to clients.
