Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Toronto and Quebec locations are looking for a new Director, National Sea Logistics Development, Asia Pacific to join our Sea Logistics Sales team.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Minimum 5 to 10years in a sea logistics environment.
  • Strong foundation insea freight sales, operations, pricing, carrier network and trade lane knowledge.
  • College orUniversity diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite asset.
  • Englishcommunication skills both written and verbal.
  • Customer serviceskills dealing with customers at a high level.
  • Presentation and collaboration skills, and ability to lead in a team environment.
  • Dispute resolutionskills.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

As a Director, National Sea Logistics Development, Asia Pacific, you would be responsible for promoting and developing the organization’s Asia Pacific Trade by driving the overall strategy in alignment with company goals across Canada. You would be partnering with the manager and respective sales teams across Canada as a subject matter expert on trade and sea logistics-specific strategy.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development of AsiaPacific Trade and build upon the sales strategy nationally.
  • Drive strategy of thetrade to ensure achievement of growth targets.
  • Identify growthopportunities through market knowledge and by leveraging our network.
  • Assist the sales teams inidentifying and preparing solutions for client needs.
  • Support various teamswith client presentations.
  • Prepare market updates tobe shared both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with overseasoffices to drive growth.
  • Travel requirements bothinternational and domestic.
  • Other job duties asrequired from time to time.
