We are currently seeking a Director, New Business Development to help spearhead a commercial strategy directly with the Chief Revenue Officer. This full-time, salaried + commission position offers competitive benefits. While based in the NYC area, we are open to remote candidates for the right fit. 25% + travel will be required.

YOUR PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Strong “hunter” profile with a demonstrated ability to secure new logos selling outsourcing services across sectors / industries, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry-Specific Experience: 7+ years of operational experience managing BPO services and leading business development efforts in the managed services space across multiple industries.
  • Client-Centric Focus: A history of enhancing the client experience, through a consultative approach advising clients on creating value and achieving measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in RFI/RFP Processes: Extensive experience with vendor selection processes, including issuing and managing RFI/RFPs, and responding to client proposals with strategic insights.
  • Deep Understanding of Customer Decision-Making: A solid understanding of how customers evaluate and make decisions regarding outsourcing and managed services, with the ability to tailor offerings to meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Annual Sales Targets: Meet and exceed annual sales quotas through strategic business development, positioning, and targeted sales strategies.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Drive lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management activities to build a robust and high-quality sales pipeline.
  • End-to-End Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle for new opportunities, from initial client outreach and presentations to RFI/RFP submission, negotiation, and deal closure. Manage the contract process, including negotiating commercial terms and finalizing agreements.
  • Competitive Analysis and Positioning: Stay informed about the competitive landscape and leverage JDA TSG’s differentiators.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients. Demonstrate the full breadth of JDA TSG’s offerings, aligning capabilities with client needs to maximize value.
  • Long-Term Client Engagement: Develop and sustain long-term, trusting relationships with senior decision-makers at target prospects.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to customize JDA TSG’s offerings to best address the specific business needs of prospective clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Reporting: present pipeline reviews and updates to JDA TSG leadership.
  • Feedback and Process Improvement: Utilize established sales processes to collect feedback and continuously refine the sales approach, ensuring improved performance and outcomes.
